Awesome, tiny things in honor of Small Business Saturday
It’s the little things that count. Great things come in small packages. Think big thoughts but relish small pleasures. The smaller the creature, the bolder its spirit. In honor of Small Business Saturday and all that is small and wonderful, here are a few fantastically tiny things for your (little) pleasure.
Ahona Mukherjee created this mini-masterpiece of the most adorable South Indian food from homemade clay— Masala Dosa, Plain Dosa, Rava Idli, Kerala Paratha, and Idli Vada. My appetite is much larger than this little meal. It looks truly delicious, in no small way.
The latest trend in phone design has been the “phablet,” or a touch-screen phone so large it’s almost the size of a tablet. While that’s all fine and dandy, I’m a much bigger fan of this teeny tiny iPhone. No problem fitting this little gadget in your pocket (or the tiny pocket inside your pocket. You know the one I’m talking about.) Tech designers, take a little hint!
I’m not entirely sure what happened here, but that bread is much bigger than the itsy-bitsy lady and her minuscule toaster. Is she gesturing in dismay, wondering how she ever got into this situation? Or, perhaps, she knows something that we do not. We may never know the answer.
These guys seem to be doing some serious excavation on that chocolate, despite their diminutive size. I only wonder what their plans are with the chocolate shavings they are mining…puny fudge? Pint-sized tiramisu? Undersized mousse? I would like a little bite, please-and-thank you.
So on this Small Business Saturday, remember to think small, and appreciate the little things that truly make life great. A little thing can make a big difference!
