Orlando City Soccer’s #Fillthebowl Campaign Kicks Off Again

The excitement and energy of another soccer season is already upon us.  Last seasons #Fillthebowl campaign was such a success that the Orlando City Soccer Club  has decided to do it again.  They made the announcement yesterday unveiling an aggressive campaign to secure another sellout for the Club’s 2016 Major League Soccer (MLS) home opener on Mar. 6 against Real Salt Lake at the Orlando Citrus Bowl. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.

The Lions set an attendance record for an expansion team last season, and drew the second highest number of fans at home. Attendees traveled from all 50 states and from over 50 countries, driving economic benefit to Orlando. The Club also became the fastest in MLS history to draw over a half million fans. We literally iced out the competition and made it difficult for visiting teams to play here because of our overwhelming and intimidating fan support.  Great job Orlando!

Last years #Fillthebowl campaign drew 62,510 fans for the team’s inaugural home game. That historic match set the tone for the Lions’ entire home season, as Orlando City drew an average of 32,947 fans to the Orlando Citrus Bowl. The league looks to duplicate this success with the launch and challenge to Orlando City Soccer fans to #Fillthebowlagain.

If you’re interested in making history once again you  have two options to purchase tickets for the March 6 match. Single day tickets are available at here or a ticket is included with paid admission to any “Kickoff Week” event. Orlando City will host its annual Kickoff Week, featuring events such as the Purple Pride 5K, the Orlando City Pub Crawl and more.
