For the past five years, Jen Denhart and Cindy Harrington have been serving up gourmet spices and exotic teas from their store, The Spice and Tea Exchange. The Old World styled store provides an eclectic mix that both foodies and tea enthusiasts will enjoy.

The Spice and Tea Exchange delivers a wide selection of hand-mixed seasoning blends, alluring spices, and specialty teas. The Spice and Tea Exchange dishes out a culinary experience guaranteed to indulgence the senses. One of the store’s best selling blends, The Florida Sunshine Spice Blend, is an assorted mix of sea salt, ginger root, peppercorns, rose petals, and dehydrated orange-lemon-lime zest. Another popular blend is the Tuscany Blend, which is a diverse blend containing; garlic, tomato powder, cumin, oregano, thyme, rosemary, basil, sea salt, black pepper, red and green bell peppers, chili flakes, parsley, olive oil, coriander, aji amarillo powder, onion, lime frost salt, and lemon-lime zest.

SO Much More Than Spices

Aside from fragrant spices and exotic teas, The Spice and Tea Exchange also offers a variety of rice and pasta products. The store has an array of flavored rice, orzo, and grain blends. Bamboo Green Rice and Woodman’s Rice; a unique combination of Red Rice, lentils, and mushrooms, are two of the favored grain blends available. To encourage the use of spice in uncommon applications, the store offers a flavored kale chip, Mama Mia Kale, which is a mixture of cheese, tomato and basil on a non-fried kale chip.

The Spice and Tea Exchange is located at 309 N. Park Ave. in Winter Park, FL. More information can be found on their website www.spiceandtea.com or by calling (407) 647-7423.
